Congregational Update: 6/9/2023

Dear Church Family,

Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran.

BACKPACK BASH! A fundraiser for the Salvation Army Backpack Program will be held on June 9th from 4-8pm at the Amery Fire Hall. This program supported more than 360 families in Polk County each week.

This Sunday, June 11th, we'll have worship at 9am.
In June Jim & Linda Kuchenmeister are our Ushers and Lectors.
There will be no Bible Study on Thursday mornings during June.

YOUTH/FAMILY EVENTS
July 9- Youth/Family Twins Game. Leave Congo parking lot at 11:15. Please sign up in our office and bring $10 by June 11 if you want to reserve your spot.
July 16-20 Community VBS 5-7:30pm

Amery Community VBS is open to all kids entering 4k-5th, and all older youth as volunteers

A Salvation Army Shower! Through our Church in Society Committee, we'll be collecting sheets, blankets, and other items for the shelter in Barron. More information is available in our church entry next to the umbrella tree.

LAWN MOWERS?  Individuals have inquired in the office about having someone mow their lawns. Anyone interested? Please call the office.
