Important Information

From Tom & Gretchen Hahn: We want to thank all of you for your Love, support and prayers, given to our Family before, during, and after our son, Ron's, successful kidney transplant surgery. He and his wife, Haley (who donated to him) are now both home and are recovering. God is certainly good. Again, THANK YOU ALL FOR ALL YOU DO!

Thinking ahead: If you are considering scrip gifts for Christmas, please talk to the Men in Mission soon.  They can get gift cards in any amount if you let them know in advance! They are happy to help!

December Helpers:  Lector Jill Olson, Ushers: Gregg & Jill Olson, Communion Bread: Gregg & Jill Olson, Group Two serves treats

Looking ahead: It will soon be time for POINSETTIAS!  You are free to bring in a poinsettia of your choosing. (We will not be ordering through the office.) Please let the office know who you wish to honor or remember with your floral gift.

Thank you from the Church in Society Committee! Thanks to your wonderful generosity, we were able to donate 92 pairs of pajamas to Willows Foster Closet for the kids in foster care in Polk County! The children were so appreciative!

Thank you from Northwoods Homeless Shelters!  Thank you for your generous contribution of 4 Thanksgiving Baskets for the families currently in our program. We are truly honored by your support! Your dedication to this program is a blessing beyond measure! (Signed by Ginny Ormsby, Administrative Director)

SALVATION ARMY started the annual Red Kettle Campaign on November 14th, and we are asking members of our community to ring the bell for us. We have several convenient locations in Polk County. Registration is available online at https://www.registertoring.com/. Each shift is two hours long, and we do not ring the bell on Sunday. Here are the most important dates that we are trying to fill out first: December 19th and 20th. The money raised from this campaign is used for homelessness prevention, rent assistance and weekly food backpacks in Polk County. If you need any further information about this campaign, or help with registration contact Dessy Anderson (a Salvation Army Board member) at 715-410-0063.
