Here's a video to get you started. or, you can read about it below!

We hope you're ready for an afternoon of "treasure" hunting fun! There are 6 hidden containers at various parks and trails around Amery filled with little treasures for you to find. And don't forget your Bible, because each location has a special verse to go along with it! Once you find all 6 locations and collect stickers for your passports at each, you can mail in your completed passport to church to earn the last prize! If you don't have an official passport, no worries; just make your own and send it in. Passports were mailed on 5/4/2020. Geocaches will be available for a couple of months (unless they are taken or damaged for whatever reason).
Here's the run down of what you need & what to do!
  • Gather your family, a couple of tote bags or backpacks, bibles, this “passport” postcard, hand sanitizer, and whatever else you need for an afternoon adventure!
  • Enter the GPS coordinates in a map app on your phone to reveal the location (within about 30 feet), then walk/bike/drive to it!
  • Search for the camouflaged container near the coordinates.*
  • Open the container and follow the instructions on it (some are taped to the underside of the lid). Be sure to put a sticker on this passport!
  • Put the lid back on tight and put the container back as you found it. Don't forget to use hand sanitizer when done!
  • Repeat until you’ve found all 6!
  • Mail your passport back to church to win a prize (it’ll be mailed to you!)
  • Photograph your adventures and share them with us!
