What is The Gathering? The 2027 ELCA Youth Gathering is more than an event — it’s a movement where young people and leaders come alive in faith, grow in hope and move with purpose. This is where the church comes to life.
Who can attend?
Any youth currently in eighth through 12th grade.
When is it happening?
June 28-July 2, 2027
Where will The Gathering take place?
Minneapolis, MN
Why should my child attend?
The Gathering is more than a trip — it’s a spark, a movement! It’s where faith grows deeper, courage is renewed and young people see the church as it truly is — inclusive, vibrant and alive.
If your child may be interested in attending The Gathering, we'll be meeting on Wednesday October 7 at 7:15 pm in Our Savior's fellowship hall. Come and learn what The Gathering is all about!
